The Oscar Swan Galena opened in 2005 as a Bed & Breakfast , Guest house, Country Inn. The Inn is available for private parties, weddings, meetings and special events. We have different venues and cater your event giving you choices of menus and setups. |

The Oscar Swan Galena is ideal as a romantic getaway. The Inn is near the highest point of Illinois and can be used as a family vacation house. Located on top of Jo Daviess County, the Inn offers opportunities to discover the Tri-State area of IL, WI and IA. The Inn is near Galena, Elizabeth, Apple Canyon, Hazel-Green and the Galena Territory, while still in a rural setting. There is convenient access to golfing, skiing, hunting or just hiking, as well as fine dining and sightseeing. |
The Inn and a cottage sleeps up to 12 people in style. Guests have a run of the house and have access to the kitchen. The Oscar Swan is well known as a beautiful place to hold family affairs, such as weddings, receptions and ceremonies, besides birthdays or reunions. The Oscar Swan Galena offers five different bedrooms each with its own decor. Also two built in bank-beds treasured by kids. There are fireplaces, porches, patios, whirlpool-bath and walk in showers, cast in luxury. Our guests have access to the kitchen, although a full breakfast is served in the morning. There is also a Party room that can be used to invite your friend for a birthday party, a reunion or just t to get acquainted again. We cater the event, so you don't have the work.
